Co- Writer, Talent Liaison, Sound

The Social Lounge was a Morning show where we were tasked to choose a specialised topic and produce it. Once I found out our topic was technology, I realised I knew people in this sector and persuaded two leading technologist to be interviewed. As one of the writers, it was my responsibility to come up with questions that were engaging and tapped into our experts’ knowledge of the sector. This required research to lend authority and credibility to the subject matter. As well as the questions I co-wrote the show with Michael Gooch. We used the lively format of the existing Morning Shows for research but added in twists to the conventions to make it more relevant to younger audience.

Co Writer, Production Assistant, Set Design

Made in a manor is a project I co wrote along with Bobby Casey. It was a short drama set in 1980’s London and centres around Andre, a young Afro-Caribbean boy who was put up for adoption as a child and raised by his adoptive white, middle- class family in Blackheath. The follows Andre’s emotional journey to find his birth mother in an attempt to get some answers about his past, the life he feels he and to understand his identity. He finally tracks her down in a barbershop in Peckham where our story unfolds and things are not so Black and White.

Writer, Interactive Producer

Live Magic Battle was an interactive live show in which I was the writer and Interactive Producer. The idea was based around an number of magician contestants, all competing and performing just one trick to a live audience at home – who would vote for their winner. After speaking to the producer about the style and structure of the show I composed a script based on the conventions of a traditional talent show but with a new twist by focusing on magic and the world of magicians.
